Grey Matter in Period

Patient

Q: I have endometiosis and have been trying to conceive for over a yr now and have had my left overy removed years ago due to a cyst. My periods are usually very heavy with simular pains, this month it was not so heavy but last night i was in a extreme amount of pain for over an hour, the only thing that stopped it was to push while on the loo. After sleeping for 16 hours i woke up with pain in the right hip (where my overy is fused to my hip bone) and Iv'e just found a lump of stringy grey mass about the size of 10p peice. As far as i know i was no pregnant as had period last month. Have I had a miscarriage or is it natural for my condition?
