Patient : Can hypercalciuria and hyperphosphatemia cause vladder irritation and hematuria?
Pt is 7 year old female.
UTI is negative for typical and atypical bacteria
CT showed no stones
Approximately 8% retention upon void
Cystoscopy identified large areas of irritation and hemmorage on bottom and top of bladder
Labs identify hypercalciuria (0.43) and hyperphosphatemia (5.2)
