Gunshot wound advise

Patient : I'm a 31 year old male that was shot by a shotgun 4 years ago in the face neck arm and head to give an example i have over 113 lead pellets in my head from the jaw up. I have chronic pain that wont stop in my shoulder and neck but the dr im seeing thinks that i shouldnt be feeling theese lead pellets and because lots of them are in the soft tissue that they shouldnt keep bothering me i have had lots of surgerys to remove several pelletts but i was wondering should i expect to be in pain for the rest of my life because my dr doesnt seem to think they should be painfull so he doesnt treat me he gives me anti depressents ibuproferin and tylonol and says that should cure the pain but i am still in alot of pain i also had a stroke after my gunshot wound that effected my hypothalamis and they have me on rittilan to keep me awake during the day.
