Patient :Hello, I am 21 years old, Male. I have been going to the gym regularly for past 2-3 years. From last 3-4 months I started taking Whey protein in order to supplement my protein requirements. Prior to that I was fulfilling my protein requirements through whole foods. Now it is a combination of whole foods and Whey Protein Supplement. I weigh around 70 Kg and consume 125-135 grams of protein daily. But from last 45 days I am experiencing hair loss. I never experienced this amount of hair loss prior to this in my life. I visited the a skin's specialist, he gave some multi vitamin tablets. I am taking those regularly. But still my hair loss is not stopping. My question is whether the whey supplement is the reason behind my hair loss, whether should I continue using it or shall I switch to another brand whey protein, maybe this particular brand is not suiting my body.
