Patient :I have lipomas all over my body.My mom has them, my mom's mom has them too.I,however have many more than them(I'm 21 years old) and mine are hard, theirs are soft.I have about 12 just on my front upper body(chest ,stomach, hands) and they are becoming very visible. Three things are bothering me... Why are mine hard ? And is there any other procedure other than surgical removal? Also, will the surgeries leave scars? And I just wonder how many surgeries I will do all over my body!Additionally,a few of the lipomas pain a bit on pressing them.Should I be worried about that? Also, if you need me for any kind of research I'd be happy to help and keep up the correspondence. Please do answer my queries. Thank you.
