Have I developed Asthma?

Q: Just today, I was running with my class for PE. (We were running a 1.5 mile run around the track and field) I was doing fine for the first and second lap but had to slow down to a walk because it became super hard to breath. I sprinted the last bit, I felt fine but after I walked away from the track and field, I started to become light headed and I started to black-out, it hurt to breath and I had a pain in my chest. The thing that gets me going is that others told me that I was out of shape and I just need to train more, which I agree with, however, its never my muscles that are sore after exercise, its always my lungs that hurt. I think I have asthma but I'm not sure, which is why I was hoping someone could answer my questions or at least point me in the right direction in what should be my next step. I've been told by the schools nurse that I should go get a blood sample test done so that they can see what the problem is.
