Have not had a period for three months

Q: Hi
I've been taking the contraceptive pill for 12 years and decided to give my body a break after my last period back in November last year. I have now had no period since the 25th November, and so this February will be the third month without my period. I've read online that it can take anywhere from two to six months to become fertile and begin regular periods again after coming off of the pill. My question is, could I still get pregnant during these current months I am not having a period? I am not looking to get pregnant just yet!
Thanks for your help.
