B-hCG values are very accurate in an early pregnancy.BhCG level at 4 weeks should be around 5 to 426 mIU/ml and it is quite fine in your case. You can repeat the same test after 48 hours to see a rising trend or doubling of bhCG and follow it up with a scan after 5 weeks of gestation to confirm the pregnancy.A falling trend or no change in the value after 48 hours can be indicative of an ectopic pregnancy.If the value comes down, it may indicate a miscarriage.
