Health verses teeth?

Q: My granddaughter does not drink milk or any form of (soy etc.) She just turned 2yrs.old. She is a healthy child and we have started giving her Vitagummies once a day. Her doctor says not to give her any juice because its bad for her teeth and has no nutritional value. Is this correct? I was taught the five basic food groups and fruit is one of them. Is her health more important than her teeth? I understand that we need to brush her teeth after drinking juice or meals. We dilute 1 partjuice 2parts water in an 8 once glass 4 times to five times a day.when she naps or sleeps she has water only. What should I be concerned with? Thanks Daniel
