Patient :Hello. I am a 52 y/o man living with HIV since 2016. I have always been undetectable and my CD4 count was 570 as of February this year. Las year when I took myself to the ER due to severe pain on my right side underarm and also really bad back pain I was told I had enlarged Lymph nodes and was recommended to see a Oncologist as he fought I had Lymphoma. I saw my ID Doctor who told me the reason was I had been off HIV meds for 5 months and that had coused the swelling. I been back on my HIV mends since but my swelling never went down. For the past several months the pain has returned and I am loosing sensation on the right side of my body including swealling on my right side underarm, my right foot and my hands are in terrible pain every night including episodes of fever (101.3 the highest). I saw my ID doctor who recommended some blood work but did not seem worried. I also suffer from disk herniations and have had two lower back surgeries. Right now I am in terrible pain, very weak, constantly tired and worn out, run out of breath after walking for two minutes, a constant itch on my back, arms and legs. As I am typing this I am in terrible pain and restless. Should I visit the ER now or should I wait for the results of the blood work my ID doctor did last week. I am suppose to see him tomorrow but to be sincere, I don't think I can go one more night feeling like this. I have taking every pain medication, muscle relaxer in the book and it gives me a temporary relief but it all comes back. I feel my legs are not holding my body and the truth is I am very worried. what do you recommend. Thanking you in advance, Arthur Rivera
