Hello, I am cross training into a job which requires

Patient : Hello, I am cross training into a job which requires combat diving (I'm military) and I have to be able to equalize my ears without pinching my nose. I am able to valsalva if I use a fair amount of force and sometimes tilt my head from side to side... But I need to do it with my hands and feet tied behind my back. Maybe my Eustachian tubes are tight or something... But I have to be able to perform ear equalization naturally without using my hands. How can I do this, Assuming it is possible? Thank you!
Symptoms:  Have to forcefully valsalva to equalize
