I had phimosis and undergone circumcision and meatoplasty nine years back. As a result I got Balantitis and urethral stricture. Since then I have been undergoing self dilatation once a week. Around ten months back I started getting pain during the self dilatation process (which was not there before). Eventually after few days I started getting pain while sitting as well. I went for Ultrasound and MRI scans. They say:
1. Bilateral enlargement of Seminal Vesicles with mild Enhancement
2. Enlarged prostate
3. Inflammation of the prostate (chronic prostatitis)
4. Both Epididymides are mildly enlarged (right>left) (chronic Epididymitis)
5. Minimal left hydrocele (likely reactive)
I consulted an Urologist and he is advising me to undergo Bucal urethroplasty surgery. However, I would like to know whether this will improve my situation and what are all the options I have to treat these problems. Please advice.
Apart from the pain during sitting and self dilatation, sometimes I see some swelling at the base of my penis on both sides (right and left). Is this also because of the above problems or is this something new? Please advice.
Symptoms: Pain while sitting and self dilatation, swelling at the base of the penis (more towards right side)
