Hello, I have recently moved to dubai with my 11month

Patient

Q: Hello, I have recently moved to dubai with my 11month old baby! I have been researching and have queried it several times with my gp back in the uk and also since being here regarding my son having the bcg injection. All babies born in Dubai have the injection at birth and all of the parents I have met here so far have also had their babies immunised. I lived in Birmingham in the uk so it wasn't necessary for my son to have the injection at birth. I am concerned and think it's best if my son has it as I will be in Dubai for minimum 6months now? Please give me your advice, he is also due his 12months MMR in April so I don't want him to have a reaction if they are too close together? Thankyou
