Since I first got my period when I was 10, they've lasted 7 days and have been heavy. There would be times when I would get it for 2 weeks or twice a month, but then it would return back to normal.I never missed any periods. My periods usually have a lot of clots. I am now 22. In August, I got my period and it lasted a month. My doctor did labs and said I have PCOS that will lead to diabetes. I'm not on any birth control. Here are my lab results:
DHEA Sulfate: 345
Free t4: 1.3
Fasting glucose: 77
Testosterone total: 35
Free testosterone: 4.1
I also had a transvaginal US that showed a polycystic right ovary and only one cyst on my left ovary.
I just started my period again today and it has a very watery consistency. It doesn't have clots like it usually does. It has a bright red/diluted look when I wipe. It is still heavy like it normally is. I am not on any BCP. I am 5'6 and 130 lbs if that matters. Should I be worried about this?
