Hello, So, I've had really watery and often yellow diarrhea
So, I've had really watery and often yellow diarrhea for five days now (sorry for the gross description). I don't seem to have many other symptoms. I felt as if I may have had a minor fever on the first/second day, but no longer. My stomach just tends to make loud gurgling sounds right before I have to go. What could this be? Does this sound like food poisoning perhaps? I can't recall eating anything questionable. Thanks.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of watery yellow diarrhea, minor fever on day 1 or so, gurgling just before going to the bathroom but no other symptoms and your thought about food poisoning.
These are suggestive of mild intestinal infection not covered by the body's defense mechanism.
These get alright by a 5 day course of an antibiotic, metronidazole, probiotics, activated charcoal tablets. Take curd and banana in foods.
This should solve your problems. I hope this helps you.
