Patient :Hello, my name is Whitney. I have had some weird discharge just recently. After looking into it. (online suggestion) It said basically I have a yeast infection. I have the discharge that is white. Cottage cheese almost looking. But no pain, no itching, no swelling, no burning, I feel fine. I use the bathroom fine. Nothing in my stomach or lower area hurts. I have been taking birth control. But have not taken it in over 2 weeks due to OBGYN orders because I am looking into being on another type of birth control. Could this be any thing else besides a yeast infection? Could I be pregnant? Could my cervix or anything else inside be wrong?
Thanks for the query.
I understand your concern.
Usually, white cotton cheese like discharge can be seen due to a yeast infection of the vagina.
But as you are not having itching, smell etc, the discharge may not be pathological.
Other possible causes of discharge are alteration of birth control.
