Patient :Today, I heard and felt a pop in my shoulder. It was loud enough that others heard it. I immediately looked to see if the shoulder was misplaced, it was not. However there was a burning sensation in the shoulder, and neck, also down to the elbow area. I suspect that it is a sprain. I plan to visit the doctor tomorrow, however I am concerned of the possibility of a arthrogram. I do not want that procedure to be performed. I am 16 years old. With the arm stationary, it does not hurt much, however when moved, the burning is there. In your opinion, what exactly is wrong, and do you think there is a need for an arthrogram?
