Help with sudden onset of pain in middle back and

Q: I am wondering what is causing or how I can treat the sudden onset of very sharp pain in the middle of my spine and in my ankles. I have recently bought a skipping rope because I have heard that using a skipping rope is one of the best ways to burn fat. I am very overweight, the NHS say I am in the 99th percentile, and so I am evaluated as obese. I am a 15 year old male. I do not usually partake in any kind of streneous activity but I have wanted to lose weight for a long time and have decided to take action. I was skipping for (surprisingly) only a minute before the sudden onset of pain in my ankles and middle of my spine. Will I need to stop skipping? What action do I take? Any advice?

Symptoms:  Sudden onset of pain in the back and ankles.
