Patient :Hey I 18 and I went to the emergency room 3 times . My heart has been beating Harding ( not too hard ) just hard that I can notice it ( at night ) I have acid reflux that's what the doctors told me . I don't work out much and I go to school . My sleep schedule has changed . I use to stay in the house and do nothing all day. I can peel my pulse through my neck mainly . No where else really. I don't have heart problems , doesn't run in the family at all. I'm 5'4 154 . A little overweight . Is it because my body hasn't adjusted to the changes? Is it the lack of excersie? I get dehydrated & tired because of it beating hard when I walk up stairs or move around fast sometimes light headed I don't have high blood pressure. While sitting I don't feel my pulse but I can easily touch my neck and feel it beating without a problem . I'm not fat or anything . Normal size . It's get annoying and I can't sleep at night because of my heart Beat. Is it my GERD? Should I eat 2 hours before going to bed? Thanks it'll help a lot i really don't know what else to do .
