Q: Hey,
Last night I was drinking with my girlfriend, not a whole lot about 2 and a bit bottles of wine between the both of us, which is pretty normal when we do that. She was fine all night, but seemed stressed and more panicy than usually. Around 4am she puked for the first time. I thought maybe she had had too much to drink, so I did what you should do and took care of her. As soon as she was finished her eyes rolled back, she collapsed on the floor and started shaking fairly violently and breathing very erratically. This scared me so I picked her up and placed her on a bed to see if I needed to call 911. She wasn't responding to anything I was saying and was talking nonsense. I finally decided, and as I typed 911 she came too and seemed completely fine, with absolutely no memory of the whole episode. She continued to be okay and i continued looking after her all night until she puked again and started shivering very violently. She was up and concious though and kept insisting that she didn't need to go to the hospital, eventually with a lot of blankets she calmed down and slept. She woke up this morning in a pool of sweat, with no hangover, and very tired. She hasnt really moved that much all day, but has eaten, drank water, and been outside. My question is. Ive been with her for quite awhile now and have seen her drink much more and be okay. I do not think this was alcohol poisoning due to her being concious and remembering everything else, except for that one episode, which is still just completely black to her. Violent shaking, eyes rolling back, very pale face, violent shivering, erratic breathing, unresoonsive pupils, and fairly delerious thoughts/speech. This lasted for approximately 4 minutes, and as soon as she opened her eyes she was fine
