Patient :Hi, I am a 16 year old british male with asian background(brown skin). I was diagnosed with a skin disorder called beckers nevus. It's like a patchy black fragments of skin on my right shoulder/arm region. It looks a bit like a map/or globe, but in black and Brown. It is not particularly hairy but is a bit rough and itchy. I've seen in photos that it developed when I was 8/9 years of age and it has grown. I don't really pay much attention to it as I tend not to go around topless, I've just accepted for what it is. However I've been doing research into how long it grows and when growth stops, unfortunately unsuccessfully. I'm not really looking to treat it as laser surgery is risky and expensive. However I would like to know when growth of the BN stops and how much it grows? I would hugely appreciate your advice. Thank you.
