Patient :Hi, I am a 16 year old female, and I am extremely active in sports. Just recently after I finished my soccer season, I began to feel a cramping sensation in my lower left ankle/achillies heel. At first I thought it was just a normal cramp, so I drank water and stretched it out. But eventually the cramping sensation came back. It's an extremely painful sensation that grows when I put pressure on my foot. I try to stretch it out but it does not help and only makes it worse. I've been experiencing these symptoms for an entire week now and I am concerned. Should I seek medical attention?
