Patient :Hi, I am a 23 y/o female that injured my back 3 months ago hyperextending it while weight lifting. The NP that evaluated me thought it was a pars fracture as it hurts much worse bending backward. I was sent to get xrays and an MRI which were both normal. I was sent to PT and the gentle exercises seemed to be okay, but when I was given squats and lunges again, the same pain is back. What now? Thank you.
