Patient :Hi, I am a 25 year old female. I live a healthy lifestyle, I'm active I eat a balanced diet etc etc. Lately I've noticed I'm losing a lot of hair, like 3 handfuls of hair or more when I wash, not to mention lots of excess when I brush my hair. I have read the causes and none at all link to myself, the even stranger thing was I read that low iron can cause hair loss but in fact since I have been staying with family the last month I have been eating a lot more iron rich foods ( red meat) which is the only thing that has changed in my diet. Please help. I'm starting to get concerned .
