Q: Hi! I had been on citalopram 20mg per day (for anxiety and panick attacks) for 2 months (started very slowly: first 2 weeks 10mg per day, 3 weeks 15mg per day) and now I have stopped taking them 6 days ago like this: 15mg per day/3 weeks, 10mg per day/3 weeks and finally 5mg per day/3weeks.
3 days ago I started to get pretty severe brain zapps. My heart would stop for a moment etc. Those withdrawal symptoms I coped and they are getting a bit easier now.
But today I had a very bad panic attack witch I dealt with 0,5mg alpratsolam.
So my question is, should I go back to 5mg for like every other day for a while or just try to cope these attacks with alpratsolam?
Sincerely,
Mika
