Hi, I had surgery for a right hemicolectomy in February

Patient

Q: Hi, I had surgery for a right hemicolectomy in February. I had a period a week before surgery, and whilst in hospital had a second period, apparently caused by stress to the body. My normal cycle is every 30 days, after surgery I didn't have a period until after 37 days, my last period at the end of April was after 32 days and both were normal periods. However this month I have not yet had a period. My question is could the repercussion of the surgery still be affecting my periods or should I look into it being caused by something else? Should I take a pregnancy test? I'm 19 and do have frequent intercourse with my partner.
