Hi, I just got the contraceptive implant today and I

Patient : Hi, I just got the contraceptive implant today and I forgot to ask some questions to my doctors which I was wondering if oh could help me on. I heard that there is a possibility of having infrequent periods as a result of the implant, and I was wondering how would you be able to tell if in severe cases that I was pregnant and missed a period but I thought it was due to the implant? And also, I have been reluctant to touch the area that was implanted, but I'm worrid if I can't feel my implant. What should I do if I can't feel it and would it still work? If you could please help me that would be great, Thank you, Caitlin
