Patient

Q: Hi I'm 17 years old. I tore my acl during indoor track season. I already had surgery about three weeks ago and I am now starting physical therapy. I've Been told by a teacher that it's impossible to get back full mobilty after acl surgery, and I was wondering is this true ? I was scared very much when I was told that because I'm an athlete and I depend on having as much mobility as possible during sports and working out. I would like to one day have my heel touch the back of my butt again when I stretch after the rehab and physical therapy is over. Please help give me a straight answer and thank you
