Hi I'm 22 years old and I have had been

Patient : Hi I'm 22 years old and I have had been suffering with what I thought to be water infections for years now with the usual stinging sensations. In the last 6 months my symtoms have changed to a feeling of a very full bladder constantly but no fluid most of the time. The doctor referred me to a urologist who examined me and did a cystoscopy but found nothing, I then was referred to a geinicologist and had a ultrasound scan and examination. They found I had policistic ovaries but said this is not linked to the bladder. I was told I needed a smear test but was refused one because of my age. I feel like my problem has now been fobbed off and I'm worried it could be serious?
