Hi I'm a 25 year old male from South Africa

Patient

Q: Hi. I'm a 25 year old male from South Africa. Three weeks ago I accidentally switched a dance floor laser light on while I was looking in where the beam shoots out. It went straight into my right eye. I had a light headache and took it lightly. The next morning my eye was red and so I went to the chemist and they suggested eye drops. At the end of the first week a cyst developed on the left part of my eyeball. It doesn't hurt at all but it's irritating. The eye is still red. I read the warning on the laser light and it says: Laser radiation, Avoid Direct Eye Exposure. Class 3R laser product.

Should I be worried?

Please help.

Jabu.
