Patient :Hi, I'm a 34 year old female. I've been having some problems. They include fatigue, rapid heart rate at times, high blood ppressure, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, memory fog, confusion at times. I just haven't felt right for about 4 months. I've had lab work done, everything was fine, then more lab working testing my hormones and thyroid. Everything was good except she said my vitamin d was a little low it was 25. And my thyroid was on the lower side. Tsh was 2.302, t3 was 3.0, and t4 was 9. She wants me to start medicine for hypothyroidism, I'm just wondering if my symptoms match this and if this numbers are low. I'm not over weight either. I just don't understand the fast heart rate, thought it would be lower with hypothyroidism. I've scene a cardiologist, and had a echocardiogram and wore a monitor for a week and everything was fine besides a little tachycardia. Should I take the thyroid meds is basically my question. Thank u.
