Patient :Hi, my husband has just undergone an MRI on his right knee, & these are the impressions found:
1. complete tear of the ACL. buckled posterior cruciate ligament
2. oblique tear of the posterior horn of the lateral meniscus
intact lateral & medial collateral ligaments & medial meniscus
4. bone contusion, lateral femoral condyle & proximal tibia more on the lateral aspect
5. trace joint fluid. Trace fluid adjacent to the torn anterior cruciate ligament
***My question is, if he choose not to undergo surgery, will we encounter serious problems in the future? Like bone cancer / tumor? Thank you!
