Hi, my mom is 60 years old and feeling achy,

Patient

Q: Hi, my mom is 60 years old and feeling achy, sore throat, light cough and feels warm (im thinking she has an elevated body temperature to indicate a slight fever). She was working at a dental convention and she told me when she came home she felt these symptoms, she thinks she caught something at the show. I wanted to give her some theraflu tea, but I looked on the warnings and it says not to use if you have high blood pressure which my mom has. I wanted to know if it is okay for her to take a dose of theraflu tea? Please let me know as soon as possible. Thank you doctor.

Symptoms:  Light cough, sore throat, body aches, warm skin.
