Hi there, i am male and 16 years of age

Patient

Q: Hi there, i am male and 16 years of age. I practice vigorous exercise (running/kickboxing/weightlifting) about 3-5 times a week. I currently consume a whey protein supplement (GOLD STANDARD Natural Whey); a 100% natural whey protein powder supplement. I usually consume this every morning and before and after my afternoon workout on a daily basis. My parents disagree heavily with the consuming of protein supplements, and they believe that this supplement is causing frustration/aggression. They also tell me that protein can cause liver/kidney problems due to the large amount of protein being consumed. is this true? even though i regularly participate in heavy athletic exercise.
