High Lymphocytes, High IGE, High ESR and High TSH, What is this?
Patient : Hello,
I am a 34 year old female that received a diagnosis of ADHD roughly two months ago. While the diagnosis of ADHD answers alot of questions I've had about myself for a very long time since childhood, I opted to test for other diseases and illnesses that may mask themselves as ADHD before going the route of medication. The point was to be thorough.
I received my blood test results a few days ago and my doctor's appointment for follow up is not for a while and I would like some assistance in understanding these results.
The following were flagged after adjusting for my age and gender.
Neutrophils: borderline low
TSH :HIGH while T3 an T4 are normal and within mid range.
Vitamin D :deficient
Everything else was normal that includes RBC, WBC, PLT, Sodium, Potassium, Calcium, all sitting either on the mid or low range of measurements.
How can the above results be interperted if I am not allergic to anything and I am not experiencing any outward signs of infection?
My main complaint is fatigue, low energy, wake up not feeling refereshed, lack of focus, impulsiveness, mild mood swings, overly emotional, miss social cues etc all related to adhd.
I would sincerely appreciate a response at the earliest convenience. Thank you in advance.
