Hip pain

Patient

Q: Please can you help me. I have for the past four years been in severe pain with my lower back and right hip. Last year I had ex rays done on my right hip I was told that I had pins in my right hip. I asked my doctor what the results of the x ray was and he said the hospital never mentioned the pins. Yesterday I had a ct scan and was told that I had pins in my right hip causing me the trouble that I am having with pain. I have never had any sort of surgery with my hips and I never had any operations on my hip in my life my parents have checked this out as they are as amazed as I am as to how these pins got there. please can you tell me what you think.
