Hip pain in lupus

Patient : I am a 40 yr old female. I have a history of SLE, LUPUS nephritis, asthma, mvp, raynauds and osteopenia. I have been suffering from chronic hip pain for over 10 years. It is severe, and never goes away. I have had several mri's over the years to rule out AVN, which come out negative. (just had one today) If i didn't have this hip pain, i wouldn't need pain medication. It would really change my life. I can deal with the other pain related to my illness. When this pain is not treated with pain meds, I roll around in pain in my bed. thats it. i actually get a friction burn on my back from rolling in the bed. By the way i am not sensitive to pain. i have a long, sometimes painful, medical history; and have had four children, one all natural, not even a tylenol. any ideas on what this pain could be.
