Hot Flashes at eighteen years old?

Patient

Q: For the past week or so, I've been developing some really odd symptoms that seem a lot like hot flashes. I'll randomly get unbearably hot in my upper body and face, feeling almost as if I'm on fire. I'll feel dizzy and light-headed, and right beforehand, I've found that I'm prone to panic attacks and possibly aggravation. It usually only lasts for a few seconds, until I'm able to fan myself off or start a fan, but then it'll occur again, usually within a half hour period. Everyone has told me that it sounds like hot flashes, but I'm only 18, and can't possibly be going through menopause. Are there any other causes?
