Patient : Hi, Two years ago I think I hyper-extended my knee while jumping on a trampoline. When I jumped and came back down my left knee bent backwards. I couldn't stand, and I was in extreme pain. I then proceed to ice, and rest it for the next few days. Now when I am in Track or Cross Country I am in severe pain. Whenever I do a light jog, or even a hard work-out my knee hurts really bad. I can't bear weight, it gets really swollen. On my left knee, it in on the inside side part. After I ice and rest after practice, I am still in pain for the next few days. I tried talking to my coach and he doesn't see anything wrong, but my other (assistant coach) she kind of does. Whenever I touch it, it hurts. I can't stand alone on it. My parents won't take me in, but I am sick of this pain for the past two years! Do you thing I did something else, or what? Any advice would be helpful! Thanks!
