Hyperhidrosis and body temperature

Patient

Q: I sweat when nervous in an uncomfortable situation, particularly on my face, making it difficult in professional situations. My nervous sweating is less noticeable when the environment is cool, so would it reduce my nervous sweating if I could cool one or more pulse points during an uncomfortable situation, such as presentation? This is based on the idea that sweating is the body's natural cooling system, so if body temperature can be controlled, would this reduce the need for excessive sweating? Thanks.
