Hypertension: Medication needed or not?

Q: I am 40 years old. In recent 2-3 years, I have been very busy and constantly nervous (about career and family life). Given that my mother has hypertension, I suspect my blood pressure could go up as well. Today I took three measurements, and all of them are around 90/130 (89/130, 90/129,90/130). So I am wondering whether medications are needed. By the way, I have done almost everything to keep blood pressure low: I eat a lot of fruits and vegetables everyday; I do jogging for 30 minutes per day as long as it does not rain; I do not smoke or drink alcohol; my food is less salty than most people's; my BMI is 24.

Symptoms:  Nothing
