Hypothalamic Amenorrhea, Infertility

Patient : Hello - I am a 33 year old woman with Hypothalamic Amenorrhea. I suffered a miscarriage 2.5 years ago. After the miscarriage my menstrual cycle became farther and farther apart and eventually stopped altogether. Around the same time as my miscarriage, I also increased my exercise frequency. I was previously running around 40 miles/week, plus weight and circuit training. I have since cut my exercise in half and incorporate more rest days. I have had a positive response (withdrawal bleed) to provera and have ovulated on clomid, although it did not result in pregnancy. I am desperately wanting to get pregnant, but can not afford IVF. I have read about Leptin treatment - do you think that this would be effective? If yes - what type of MD would I see for treatment? I would also be interested in injectibles, but am fearful about the risk of multiples. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you!
