Hypothyroidism

Patient

Q: I would like to get some information. I think I need to visit immunologist but I am not sure what tests I should take
My mother was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism when she was a young woman. She also had exophthalmos.

I have read that the most common reason of hypothyroidism is an autoimmune disease called Graves' disease
When I was a kid I had alopecia areata which was cured.
Last year I was diagnosed with seborrhea dermatitis which was cured. They are also considered to be autoimmune illnesses.
