The possible causes of increased frequency of urination during menstrual periods are:
-During periods blood supply to pelvic organs increases which can cause irritation of bladder mucosa leading to increased frequency of urination.
-Irritation due to tampons or sanitary pads etc.
If frequency persists even after periods and other symptoms like urgency, burning sensation etc appear, better to rule out the possibility of urinary tract infection.
