Q: I am a 23 year old male who has been experiencing recent hair loss in the form of a receding hairline. I know this is normal and genetic, and I understand that it happens naturally as we age.. But I am wondering about using propecia. I have heard so many positive testimonials about it being very effective, but it certainly comes with a plethora of people claiming sexual side effects. I am wondering if there is any validity to this? Or is propecia generally considered a safe pill to take? I am all for preventing further hair loss, but want to make sure it's not at the cost of some irreversible sexual side effects that a few people claim.
