I am a personal trainer with a female Caucasian client
Patient :I am a personal trainer with a female Caucasian client 43 years old in relatively good health has had two children and works very hard at her exercise program. The problem is she will wake up after a short time of sleeping on her back experiencing sever pain. The pain will subside after a few minutes. She has no problem sleeping on her side. Her left leg is slightly shorter than her right. Her hamstrings are not exceptionally tight. I can see evidence of what I call "Flat Back". I have been working her abs, deltoids, Lats, Teres Minor, Teres Major,Rhomboids, and middle traps.
I suspect that it could be a problem with her psoas or ilipsoas. Any advice as to how to exercise her to elevate this problem would be appreciated!
