Patient :I am a teenage girl... My BMI is 26. I don't play any sports. I was doing a lot of walking and yard-work today and usually when I do more walking or exercise my feet hurt towards the afternoons. It gets really bad when my feet get cold. I noticed this one day when I put my feet in ice cold water and my ankles were submerged. I thought nothing of it as the I had no pain before my feet got wet. As my feet warm up the pain subsides. The pain is below the knee, mainly in my ankles, calf muscle and along my shins. The pain is not regular, sometimes I have it on both feet, sometimes only the left or right foot. When I have the pain it feels like I need to stretch out my leg or rotate my ankle around, but the more I do that the more agitated my feet seem to get. If I lie down the pain will also subside after 15-30min. I feel like an old lady and want to know if this is anything serious or if my feet are just telling me that they are tired.
