Patient :I am recovering from a cold that has lasted 5 days so far. The third day into the cold, I started experiencing light-headedness and nasea. It didn't matter whether I was lying down or upright and it lasted all day. This has happened everyday since; it feels like I am in a dream. Concerned, I visited a GP who suggested I'm dehydrated and wanted me to up my fluids (to at least 4L per day).
Is there a way of determining whether this is neurological?
How many more days of this should I start to worry that this is serious?
