Patient :I think I am pregnant I have the mirena coil and have had since march last year but I have had obvious symptoms that I recognise from my 2 previous pregnancies I have had nausea, sore breasts. increased appetite, mood changes, flutterings in the tummy, I have also had what I believe to be implantation bleeding, wierd cravings. I have done numerous pregnancy tests which have all came back negative but I know my own body and I feel pregnant please help
Symptoms: Nausea, sore breasts, increased appetite, mood changes, flutterings in the tummy, bleeding
Thanks for the query.
The symptoms could mean just a hormonal imbalance caused by Mirena rather than a pregnancy as all your pregnancy tests have been negative. However, do not ignore your instincts, consult a Doctor for an examination and get a beta hCG test done followed by a scan as well which would rule out pregnancy very well.
Hope this helped.
