Patient

Q: I feel a hard tennis ball size lump , with a very strong pulse ,in the center of my abdomen , starting 2 inches above my navel ,under my abdominal muscles, when I lay flat on the floor relaxing my abs. What could it be?

Doctor

A:   Thank you for writing to us.

This sounds like an abdominal hernia but I cannot be completely sure. Please see a Doctor to confirm the diagnosis. After this, the treatment will be by surgical repair. All the best. Wishing you good health,

Hope this helps you
